Arrested Development Documentary Project

The Austin Film Festival (AFF) proudly announces that “Arrested Development” creator Mitchell Hurwitz will accept the 2009 Outstanding Television Writer Award during the Festival’s annual Awards Luncheon on Saturday, October 24th. In addition to claiming the honor, Hurwitz will speak on panels during the Festival’s 16th Annual Screenwriters Conference, October 22-25, 2009.

We have wrapped on the Arrested Development Documentary Project.  It won’t be long now until you will be able to enjoy the feature on your own screen or maybe a larger screen.  Please keep spreading the word as we may be coming back to the locations that showed us so much support.

We are almost done, seriously, I PROMISE.  We are waiting for one more interview and then we are done.  We had two interviews this past week with the Directors of Photography James Hawkinson and Greg Harrington.  They shed some great light on the rhyme and reason to the unique filming style.  You think this show has “layers” (I quote a large number of fans on that one) that doesn’t even compare to the layers behind the scenes.

Stay tuned, there is a light at the end of the tunnel that we will not cirsumvent.
